Betsy was born and raised on the mission field in Bogotá, Colombia. She has her B.A. in Biblical and Intercultural Studies from Emmaus Bible College and M.A. with an emphasis in Pastoral Counseling and Intercultural Studies from Columbia International University. She is a certified bilingual medical interpreter. Betsy’s life has always had a strong cross-cultural emphasis. She longs to see people equipped and freed to live out God’s design and calling in their lives. At Downline, she gets to coach and mentor women as they seek to understand who God is, who they are, and how they can live out their design and the Great Commission in each season of their lives. She also helps in the training and leading of teams that serve overseas, while mentoring women who are considering going long-term.
